At The Strength Factory, fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all. From high-intensity training to mindful movement, our diverse classes are designed to challenge, inspire, and empower every body. Raise the Bar

Learn proper bench, squat, and deadlift form while building total-body strength, confidence, and power in a supportive small-group setting.

Kickboxing

Punch, kick, and move to the beat in this high-energy cardio workout that builds endurance, strength, and confidence for all fitness levels.

Kickboxing Builders

Refine your strikes and combos through focus mitts and partner drills. A fun, progressive workout that challenges strength, rhythm, and coordination.

Kettlebells

One tool, endless results. Build strength, endurance, and balance in this powerful 60-minute full-body class designed for every fitness level.

Yoga

Inclusive, grounding, and empowering. Stretch, strengthen, and connect with yourself in a supportive space where every body belongs.

HIIT

Fast-paced and effective. High-intensity intervals boost strength, cardio, and endurance for a sweat-drenched workout that gets results - quickly.

The Strength Factory is proud to partner with local organizations like Harbor City Roller Derby, helping athletes perform at their best through strength, stability, and teamwork.

We are a proud supporter of the UB/UBMS programs of St. Scholastica. Strength Factory donates two $250 scholarships to their graduates of the program.

I founded The Strength Factory with one goal in mind — to build a space where strength goes beyond the physical. Here, we move with purpose, lift each other up, and grow together as a community.

I’m a coach, entrepreneur, mom, and motivator who believes that fitness should empower every part of your life — mind, body, and heart. Whether it’s kickboxing, kettlebells, yoga, or Saturday morning circuits, my mission is to help people discover what they’re capable of — and to remind them that they don’t have to do it alone.

At The Strength Factory, we celebrate progress in every form. We cheer for the small wins, push through the hard days, and create a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and strong.

When I’m not at the gym, you’ll find me juggling family life, real estate, and a good cup of coffee — all while dreaming up new ways to bring people together through movement and mindset.

Karen Shelton

I’m a mental health therapist, trauma-informed yoga teacher, and nationally certified sign language interpreter — roles that allow me to blend compassion, expertise, and lived experience in everything I do at The Strength Factory. As a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and advocate, I believe deeply in connection — to ourselves, to others, and to the communities we build together.

Beyond my professional life, I’m a writer, reader, indoor gardener, chicken keeper, singer, dancer, and lifelong learner. My work is grounded in empathy, inclusion, and the belief that healing and strength can take many forms.

At The Strength Factory, I strive to create space for movement, healing, and growth — helping each participant find strength in body, mind, and spirit.

Jess Duffy

I live right here in Superior and absolutely love everything this area has to offer. When I’m not in the gym, I’m probably out on Lake Superior, hiking our local trails, or planning my next travel adventure on a patio with a craft beverage in hand.

I believe working out is one piece of a balanced life. Fitness shouldn’t be about perfection or punishment, it’s about energy, movement and fun. My favorite way to teach is through high-intensity, full-body workouts that challenge you to dig deep and celebrate what your body can do. Life moves in seasons, and I want my classes to be a space where you can work hard, have fun, and feel grounded no matter where you’re at.

Great classes, and finding success and challenge from beginner to advanced levels, with no need to not participate due to limited experience. It can all be adjusted and modified based on the needs of the individual.

A great atmosphere. Where everyone is equal regardless of their body type and/or athleticism. The coaches are knowledgeable and are fun to work with. Most times they join right in with the class. Be prepared to have a good workout, sweat, and most likely even laugh a bit. There is a lot more to offer than just the standard gym. I’ve been going for over 2 years, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad workout. I highly recommend going and trying out all of the different kinds of classes that are offered.
